WHAT IS A FANZINE?
A fanzine or zine is a collection of works created by fans revolving around a certain theme or fandom. It's usually produced as a book (sometimes with accompanying merchandise) or a digital PDF.WHAT IS THIS ZINE ABOUT?
Shutter will feature the cast from the Link Click series with a fashion theme! Think fashion magazines and advertisements! We will feature art, writing, and merchandise with this theme in mind.IS THIS ZINE FOR CHARITY OR PROFIT?
This zine will be a P4P (Pay for Production) model.DO THE MODS RUNNING THIS PROJECT HAVE EXPERIENCE?

This is entirely dependent on the interest check results! If you're just as excited for this project as we are, and want to see tons of cool work in it, be sure to help spread the word!IS THERE ANY KIND OF AI INVOLVED WITH THIS PROJECT?
Absolutely not. No use of AI will be associated with this zine. For contributors, if we find out that you're using AI at any time, you will be immediately removed from the project and banned from the mods' future projects.

CONTRIBUTOR FAQ

WHAT ARE THE ZINE SPECS?
This will be decided on when we have the interest check results.CAN WE USE OLD ARTWORK IN THE ZINE?
All pieces should be new, original works specifically created for the zine.CAN I APPLY TO MULTIPLE ROLES?
Yes, but you will only be accepted for one.ONCE THE ZINE IS FINISHED, WILL I STILL HAVE THE RIGHTS TO MY WORK?
Yes! We ask that while the zine is still actively going through creation periods, preorders, leftover sales, etc, that you do not share, post, or sell your work until the mods have given you the go ahead to do so. But you will retain all rights to your work upon the zine's completion and the zine will not retain its rights to distribute your work.DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE PRODUCING MERCH IN ORDER TO BE A MERCH ARTIST?
While it would be helpful, it's not a requirement for you to have made physical merch before! The mods will be the ones handling the actual merch production, so we can work with you to make sure your design is following the required specifications.DO I NEED TO SUPPLY THE MERCH MYSELF IF I AM ACCEPTED AS A MERCH ARTIST?
No! The mods will have already begun deciding on manufacturers to use by the time you join. You do not need to supply the merch––the mods will give you the specs to work under and we will handle all purchasing and manufacturing for the items.HOW WILL MODS AND CONTRIBUTORS COMMUNICATE?
Our main mode of contact is through Discord and email on occassion. We do require that you have a Discord account so that you can join our zine's server; we will frequently make announcements and updates there. We will, however, also send out emails for the more important announcements. Also, any important or sensitive information (such as emails and addresses) will remain completely confidential from other contributors. Only the mod team will be able to view this information.WILL CONTRIBUTORS RECEIVE A FREE COPY OF THE ZINE?
All contributors will receive the digital zine for free! Of course, our goal is to sell enough of the zine to compensate all contributors with full bundles as thanks for contributing their time and efforts. This is just dependent on sales.IS NSFW CONTENT ALLOWED?
No, our zine will be completely SFW and should be accessible to all ages!AM I ALLOWED TO DROP OUT IF I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ZINE?
Absolutely. If you need to drop out for any reason, just be sure to let the mods know. We just ask that you inform us ASAP, so we can try to contact a pinch-hitter to fill your slot.
